Radio Vietnam

Radio Vietnam is a radio station provided by the Live365 internet radio service that specializes in Vietnam era music from 1960 to 1974. The station originated on July 31, 2004 and continues to broadcast to this day. It's primary influence is the AFVN, a radio station located in Saigon that entertained soldiers from 1962 to 1973. Despite being an amatuer station, it has garnered the praise of many Live365 users and is now entering it's fifth year.

Music

The station specializes in oldies from the sixties and early-seventies. Genres include pop, Motown, British Invasion, rock, doo-wop, rock 'n' roll, classic R&B, old-school metal, country, and many others. The three most represented bands on the station are CCR, the Doors, and the Rolling Stones, however, plenty of other bands are featured on the station, including Pink Floyd, the Guess Who, Grand Funk Railroad, the Allman Brothers Band, the Beatles, the Edgar Winter Group, Mountain, Jefferson Starship, Jefferson Airplane, Head East, Joe Cocker, the Monkees, Wilson Pickett, the Hollies, the Who, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, Jimmy Ruffin, Looking Glass, the Temptations, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Fleetwood Mac, Jim Croce, Rare Earth, the Marvelettes, Martha & the Vandellas, the Supremes, the Surfaris, the Beach Boys, the Moody Blues, and many more.
