David Bromberg (baseball)
David Bromberg (born September 14, in ) is a Minor league starting pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization currently assigned to the Twins' advanced A affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle.
The 6'5" 241 lb. right hander (who bats left handed) attended Santa Ana Junior College in despite having been selected by the Twins' in the 32nd-round of the June draft. With the Santa Ana "Dons," he went 3-2 with a 4.28 earned run average. In his first professional season () with the Gulf Coast League Twins, his 2.66 ERA ranked fourth overall in the Twins organization, but it wasn't until that Bromberg broke out as a prospect for the Twins. He went 9-0 with a 2.78 ERA for the Elizabethton Twins to earn an Appalachian League Post-Season All-Star selection and was named APP Pitcher of the Year. Baseball America also named him a Rookie All-Star.
He was also named to the Midwest League All-star team in with the Beloit Snappers, and joins Miracle teammates Carlos Gutierrez, Spencer Steedley, Daniel Lehmann, Chris Cates, Chris Parmelee, Ben Revere and Steve Singleton as All-stars for the Florida State League's Southern division.
