Radio Javan is the first online Persian radio station.

Persian music 24/7

Radio Javan was started in October 2004 with the help of a few people in the Atlanta and Washington, D.C. communities. Its goal from the very beginning has been to be an excellent source of Persian music such that Persians all over the world can listen to their favorite songs 24/7. Since then, Radio Javan has grown to be the largest provider of Persian music online, as its slogan proves, "The Best Persian Music 24/7".

When you listen to Radio Javan, you'll be enjoying a diverse selection of Persian music including all the latest songs as well as your old favorite classics. You can even request your own songs online and dedicate them to your friends. Its library is being kept of songs updated with the newest and best songs from all favorite artists.

Currently, Radio Javan is exclusively an Internet-based radio station, meaning that it is separate from traditional FM/AM broadcasts and satellite radio. What this means is that although your FM radio will not be able to tune into Radio Javan, it is always broadcasting great programming. Where there's internet access, there's Radio Javan.

Community

Radio Javan's online community was created in Summer 2007, in order to assist the web site users to create their own online profiles and groups, similar to ones in MySpace, Facebook or Orkut. Each weekly show has its own group on the online community as well.
