History

Founded by Harvard Business School Alumni Dhruv Agarwala and Kartik Varma along with ISB Hyderabad alumnus Prashan Agarwal in February 2011, PropTiger has secured over $7 million in two rounds of funding from SAIF Partners, Accel Partners, Softbank and Horizen Ventures till date.

Unlike classified players (MagicBricks, 99acres, CommonFloor) who only help online buyers in connecting to agents, online real estate brokers like PropTiger provide buyers end to end services for home buying i.e., assistance in exploring housing options as per their needs, organizing site visits, negotiating with sellers, documentation and home loan issuance etc. PropTiger sells properties of all leading builders such as Tata Housing Development Company, DLF Limited, Unitech Group, Godrej Properties Limited and many more. The company’s website though provides information on all projects irrespective of their sales agreement with the builder.

PropTiger launched India’s first Property portfolio which helps customers in tracking progress of their investments in under-construction properties. In addition to latest prices, customers also receive construction updates, along with pictures of the floor and site plans as well as the video walkthrough of properties.
