Nicki Foxx

Nicki Foxx (born Erin Elizabeth Tanner on November 5 1985 in Burbank California) is an American pop singer, songwriter, model, and actress. Nicki was one of the five girls that comprised the now-defunct pop girl group No Secrets. In 2005, Foxx started her solo singing career by changing her name to Nicki Foxx, releasing a demo entitled Can't Lose Control. Foxx's debut album, I'm That Girl, and debut single, "Let's Go", were slated for release in late 2005. The demo CD released in 2005 contained a sampler of Foxx's then current work, including the tracks "Can't Lose Control," "I'm That Girl," "Living Fantasy," "Let's Go," and "Dance With Me." Since then, Nicki has left Marc Q records. Also, Foxx starred in the movie Popstar opposite Aaron Carter. This marked her debut into the acting world. She has released two new songs on her MySpace and has stated that she is currently unsigned. The songs are titled "Wild and Stupid" and "Let's Do Something."

Music Career

2000-2005: No Secrets

In 2000, Nicki, then known as Erin Tanner, joined a girl group, No Secrets, Back-up vocals alongside Carly Lewis and Jade Ryusaki. The other members were Jessica Fried, and Angel Faith. Their first single, "That's What Girls Do", was very popular and was also used in The Powerpuff Girls Movie.

In 2002 after much success with the group, they toured alongside Aaron Carter on his "Oh Aaron tour" as apart of a jive records collaboration. they made an appearance at the fifteenth anual Kids Choice Awards, and shot 3 more music videos after this.

In 2003, the group recorded a cover of Atomic Kitten's hit single "Whole Again" without Angel, who then left the group to pursue a solo career. In early 2004, the remaining four members of No Secrets recorded "Once Upon A Dream" for the DVD release of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty and Disneymania 2. They parted ways shortly thereafter in the band's final year, 2005.

Modeling

Nicki Has Modeled from a wide Variety of magazines and different companies. She posed for a special edition of a monster energy drink shoot and only went up hill for other shoots with other producers in the following years. to date, modeling is the only career from foxx's launch that is still being pursued to date. her music and acting career were slowly haulted after lack of production.
