History
In 2017, Mohammed Najar, a disabled United States military veteran, founded Najar Investigations. Najar Investigations provides private investigation and surveillance services and is licensed in California, Arizona, and Latin America.
In 2018, Najar Investigations conducted an investigation on behalf of the Coachella Valley Public Cemetery District concerning allegations made by employees against district board member Marcos Coronel. The investigation included InterViews with cemetery district employees, some of whom alleged that Coronel had made them uncomfortable through prolonged questioning and comments concerning their employment. Coronel denied the allegations.
In 2023, Najar Investigations conducted an investigation related to the killings of Danielle Ricker and Angel Ponce in Temecula, California. The investigation was associated with the case of David Alan Floyd, who was subsequently convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
In April 2024, Najar Investigations was retained by Starting Over, a nonprofit organization representing Victorville, California city councilwoman Blanca Gomez, to assist with compiling discovery and other information for Gomez's defense against misdemeanor charges arising from her removal from a Victorville City Council meeting in 2023.
In June 2024, Najar Investigations announced an agreement to provide penetration testing services to a confidential client in the technology sector. The engagement was intended to assess vulnerabilities in the client's information systems and physical assets and produce a report of the findings.
