Nagabushana Reddy
N. Nagabushana Reddy (born 12 May 1975) is an Indian businessperson. He is the CEO, Founder, and Managing Director of the NBR Group, an Indian real estate developer. He is known for his role in expanding residential real estate projects in Bengaluru. Under Reddy's leadership, NBR Group has reported delivering more than 12 million square feet of residential development in the city.
Early Life and Education
Reddy was born on 12 May 1975 in Karnataka, India, and grew up in a Hindu household. He is the son of Nanja Reddy and Meenakshi, and was raised alongside his brother, Ashwathnarayana Reddy.
Reddy attended a Government High School (GHS), followed by studies at Reddy Jana Sangha College in the state of Karnataka. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Bangalore City University.
Business Activities
NBR Group
In 1998, Reddy founded the NBR Group, headquartered in Bengaluru, setting out to develop residential communities in India. The company plotted residential developments across South India, especially Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Early projects included plotted developments near the industrial hub at Hosur, Tamil Nadu such as NBR Homes (2009), NBR Lake View (2010), and NBR Green Valley (2011).
By 2024, the company had delivered over 12 million square feet of residential space and served more than 7,000 homeowners, increasingly focusing on gated communities and carefully designed integrated residential formats.
NBR Soul of the Seasons
The project is located near the Sarjapur Road- Gunjur IT corridor and aims to incorporate an eco-friendly design by harvesting natural resources and conserving existing vegetation. NBR Soul of the Seasons received the Best Themed Residential Project Award at the 2025 GREBA Awards for its integration of wellness-oriented design inspired by natural elements and extensive green spaces.
Awards and recognition
Reddy’s contributions to the real estate sector have earned him several accolades. He has been honored as Asia’s Greatest Leaders 2024-25 by Asia One Magazine. He also received the Visionary Founder Award at the Outlook Business Spotlight Achievers Awards 2025. Reddy was also honored as the CEO of the Year at the prestigious ET Achievers Awards 2025.
NBR Group has also been recognized for its residential projects. NBR Group was conferred the title of ‘Trusted and Innovative Developer of the Year’ at the ET Achievers 2024 (The Times of India) awards, as well as ‘Residential Plot Development of the Year’ awards for NBR Meadows in 2012 and NBR Green Valley in 2013.
Personal Life
He has been married to Radhika since February 2005, and they have a daughter together, Tanisha. They reside in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He speaks four languages, including English, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi.
