History
MOZN was founded in 2017 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by Dr Mohammed Alhussein, Dr. Khaled Al-Ghoneim, Abdullah Alsaeed, and Malik Alyousef. The company focused on the development of AI systems and financial crime prevention, including tools designed to support anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, compliance, and risk management processes.
In 2022, MOZN raised US$10 million in a Series A funding round led by Raed Ventures, with participation from Shorooq Partners, VentureSouq, Sukna Ventures, and other investors.
In 2025, the company introduced Agentic AI capabilities for its FOCAL platform, expanding its analytical and risk assessment functions. The same year, MOZN launched OSOS, an enterprise knowledge intelligence platform that enables enterprise users to interact with data and documents through natural-language interfaces, with support for Arabic-language use cases.
In early 2026, the company announced a corporate rebranding initiative.
