MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology

MESA+is the Nanotechnology Research institute of University of Twente. It consists of 500 employees including 275 PhDs and postdocs. It holds around 1250 m² cleanroom space with some other state of the art research equipment. It has around 45 million euro yearly turnover1. Approximately 60% of the turnover come from external sources2.The management of MESA+ consists of Scientific Director and Technical Commercial Director3.University Board, Scientific Advisory Board4 and Supervisory board assists MESA+ management when necessary 5. Currently Prof.dr.ing Dave Blank6 and Ir.Miriam Luizink are working as the Scientific Director and Technical Commercial Director respectively.

Research

The name of MESA+ Research program is Strategic Research Orientations (SRO's)7.Different Research groups participate in the SRO programs.
