Martin Bay Hebsgaard
Martin Bay Hebsgaard (born November 26, 1970 in Denmark) is an evolutionary biologist known for applying evolutionary methods on the geologically ancient DNA. He has also pioneered in the work of applying ancient DNA techniques systematically to anthropogenic sediment layers in order to investigate the methods potential in archaeology.
His work spans from arthropod evolution and Neandertal genetics and phylogeny to more practical work related to ancient DNA.
