Mark Leonard (Australian)

Mark Leonard is a 22 year old male who loves everything AbOUT radio. 5 Years ago Mark 'Squinty' Leonard got his start when community radio station SYN FM began broadcasting to Melbourne. Squinty went onto broadcast and work around the station on a mostly full time volunteer basis until 2006.

During this time Squinty gained employment at ARN Melbourne as there production assistant on a part time basis 3 days a week.

Squinty has now completed the Graduate Diploma of Arts in Commercial Radio at Swinburne University in Melbourne learning under the great Jim Barbour.

Squinty has moved to Queensland to work at radio station Crow FM. He is on air from 3pm until 7pm weekdays. He is also doing station imageing.

So why Squinty? Well because he has contact lenses that make him squint, he moved to a new school in year 10 and his friend told him to "shut up squinty" and ever since the name has stuck!
