Lost Album

Lost Album is the home made demo by the Los Angeles alternative rock band Rooney. The songs were originally intended to be included on the band's second album. Originally the album was to be called "Kids After Sunset," and fans referred to it as "Dos," but nearly three years later when it was released it was called "Calling the World," and only featured three songs from these sessions ("Tell Me Soon," "Paralyzed," and "Don't Come Around Again." "Sleep Song" was released as a bonus track on the iTunes version of "Calling the World."

"One Armed Man" was played live several times. "Paralyzed" and "The Juice" were also played live frequently and were featured in the band's DVD release "Spit & Sweat." "Sleep Song" was heard in the film Chumscrubber.

The first set of songs, recorded mostly in 2004, were released on the internet by fans. The band has said these demos were very rough and never meant to be heard. The second set of songs, mostly released on the band's myspace, were better recorded.
