• Assoc = Association

:* BWDCA = Brisbane Water District Cricket Association

:* NDCA = Newcastle District Cricket Association. In 1911-12 and 1912-13 Narara competed in the Newcastle Senior Grade competition.

:* WDCA = Wyong District Cricket Association. Established in 1912.

:* GDCA = Gosford District Cricket Association. Established in 1920.

:* GWDCA = Gosford-Wyong District Cricket Association.

:* During 1968, the four remaining WDCA clubs amalgamated into two. Wyong-Tuggerah (as Wyong District Cricket Club) and Toukley-Dooralong (as Toukley District Cricket Club) then joined the GDCA in 1968-69. The amalgamation of the two cricket associations was formalised in 1970.

:* CCCA = Central Coast Cricket Association.

:* The GWDCA was renamed as the CCCA in 2003.

:* Not Known = The winner of the competition is not currently known. In some years, the newspapers from the time did not survive to be archived. In other instances, the newspapers do survive, but the result was not reported or any reference to the competition has not yet been found. Further research may fill in some of the gaps.

• Decider = The method of deciding the major premiership.

:* No (Knock-Out) = In the 1920's and 30's the GDCA premiership was awarded on a league-basis, to the team finishing at the top of the points score. In some seasons, a separate Knock-Out competition was held after the premiership was decided.

:* Play-Off Final = Under the league system, a play-off final was held if the top two teams finished equal on points at the conclusion of the regular season.

:* Final = At the conclusion of the regular season, the top two teams on points played a match, with the winner claiming the title.

:* Finals Series = At the conclusion of the regular season, the top four teams played semi-finals, with the winners meeting in a Final. In most instances the semi-finals were 1st place (minor premiers) v 4th place and 2nd place v 3rd place.

:* Grand Final = At the conclusion of the regular season, the top four teams played major (1st place v 2nd place) and minor (3rd place v 4th place) semi-finals. In the second of three weekends, a Final was played between the loser of the major semi-final played the winner of the minor semi-final. On the third weekend, the Grand Final was played between the winners of the major semi-final and the Final.

• Points Score = A list showing competition points accrued.

:* Full Table = A table showing competition points accrued along with number of matches won, lost and drawn.

:* Winner Named = The premiership winner was named in the newspapers. This may have occurred in the week following the last or deciding match of the season, or later, such as in a report of a club or associations' Annual General Meeting.

:* Runner Up Named = The winner is not known but a club report cites that they came second.
