List of F-Zero pilots
The following is a description of pilots, by debuted game, then race number, featured in Nintendo's F-Zero video game franchise. There is a total of 49 pilots on this list. This list only goes into detail to those games that have very few pilots that originated there or in games which do not have their own character pages/sections; for more elaborate information on those that do, please see the contents for the appropriate game.

Title: The Elusive Evil Phantom
Biography: This mysterious pilot makes even Black Shadow, the evil emperor shudder with fear. Since the huge accident four years ago prior to F-Zero GX, several F-ZERO pilots have turned up missing : in all of the missing-persons investigations conducted by the Space Police, Deathborn was the primary suspect. Deathborn has died three times, but each time was brought back to life by exchanging his real body parts for mechanical ones. Through these procedures, he has become essentially immortal. A device installed within his body allows him to travel freely through space, making it possible for him to mystically appear anywhere at any time. He banishes those he dislikes to the outer limits of space where they become drifting vagabonds for all eternity. Deathborn is plotting to take over the universe. His plan is to obtain the ultimate power that would allow him to determine life and death on every star as he sees fit.
Deathborn is the main villain of F-Zero GX. Deathborn is first seen in the story modes' prologue where he threatens that if Black Shadow fails to win the next Grand-Prix "you know the price of failure". He is next seen when Black Shadow fails to win the Grand-Prix race. Deathborn attacks Black Shadow with a sword looking weapon where he is banished. Deathborn then issues a challenge to Captain Falcon to a race at the entrance to the underworld. Deathborn explains that dark and light, the forces that make up the universe, are condensed in Captain Falcon's belt (won from the Grand-Prix race) and his own belt (won from the Grand-Prix race of the Underworld). Deathborn then combines the two belts into one, with this power Deathborn can finally take over the universe turning it into complete darkness and turmoil. Captain Falcon then races against him to stop this from happening. When Captain Falcon becomes the victor, Deathborn falls over the edge of the race track and lands in lava where his machine then explodes. Deathborn could've escaped by teleportation or by exchanging more of his real body parts for mechanical ones; however, this is left vague. It is later revealed that Deathborn was a creation of the Creators. (It is interesting to note that the Creators, the main villains, say Captain Falcon defeated Deathborn but they never say he destroyed him. Their actual quote is "What a surprise! He beat Deathborn! He was our best creation.)
Machine Information: Deathborn races in the Dark Schneider, which he nicknames as the “Wings of Darkness”. It is surrounded by a mysterious veil and was also modeled into the form of a dragon-based machine. The fuselage and nosepiece were designed in a dragon motif, both of them protected by the strength of a top-class body. As further protection, Black Shadow equipped an antitheft measure for his leader: If anybody other than Deathborn sits in the cockpit, needles fire out of the dash and inject a deadly poison into the intruder.

The Dark Schnieder follows the pattern of "villain" ships, being heavy with high top speed and relatively low acceleration. The shape of the machine gives it good stability when turning, despite its low cornering and grip. It is a rather large machine, and its characteristics make it ideal for destroying other racers.

Rick Wheeler/Ryu Suzaku — Rick is the main character in the anime. He's from the year 2051 and is a racer and an officer. He went into "cold sleep" during a chase scene, making him miss a lot of things, including proposing to his girlfriend. His vehicle, the Dragon Bird, was created by Dr. Clash. Rick had "borrowed" the machine to leave the area, only to find that he has indeed slept 150 years and is way in the future. Rick's original name from the Japanese version is Ryu Suzaku.

Lucy Liberty — Lucy's a newcomer to the Galaxy Mobile Platoon. She joined the platoon after watching Rick Wheeler save her and her friends from a gang in Port Town while on the way to an F-Zero race. She's very sweet and innocent-looking, but sometimes, you really don't want to get in her way. She works very close with Dr. Clash to learn the mechanics of F-Zero and races sometimes.

Lisa Brilliant — Goroh's wife and possibly the reason for Dai Goroh, Lisa is one bad girl. She uses her looks to flaunt with men to make them tell their secrets. She's done it with Jack Levin before and now has other ways of getting info that she wants. According to the game, Lisa is also Antonio Guster's older sister, making her husband, Samurai Goroh, his brother-in-law.

Misaki Haruka (AKA: Miss Killer) — Misaki Haruka is known as Miss Killer in the Japanese version of the anime. She works as a spy/manipulator under the emperor of evil, Black Shadow. She's also Rick's girlfriend.
