Liesl Gaffney-Dawson
Liesl Gaffney-Dawson(born 10 May 1982) is an Australian model and actress best known for being the face of Joe's Jeans, J.Lo's fragrance Love At First Glow and Vichy.
Early Life and Family
Liesl grew up in a small Australian town called Bellingen. Her parents are Tony Dawson and Jane Gaffney, both teachers and she has a younger sister called Rachel. She graduated from Coffs Harbour Senior College and planned to study law/communication before pursuing modeling.
Career
Liesl signed to Chic Management in Sydney and gained exposure after a modeling for a series of companies, Bonds, Visa Card, Remington, Harper's Bazaar, Myer, MOne11 and Rip Curl. She was scouted by Next management in Paris. She gained exposure appearing in French Marie Claire and Biba before becoming more recognizable in campaigns for Vichy and L'Oreal which was shot by Greg Kadel. She also spent time in London shooting for lingerie brand Gossards and also with Ellen von Unwerth. Later she relocated to New York where she appeared in the J.LO fragrance campaign Love at First Glow. She now resides in Los Angeles and recently starred in a critically acclaimed short film that featured at the Cannes Film Festival and Sundance festivals.
