Morgan Hurst

Morgan Hurst (born August 22, 1992) is an Australian model, best known for winning Girlfriend Magazine’s Model Search 2007 with her twin sister Aimee Hurst.

Early life

Morgan was born in Auckland, New Zealand. At the age of 11, she moved to Melbourne and now she lives in Victoria, Australia. She is currently in Year Eleven in 2009 at East Doncaster Secondary College, but she will be talking a year off next year to travel to Paris and New York and focus on modeling.

Career

As the winner of Girlfriend’s Model Search, Morgan and her twin Aimee won a 2 year contract with Chic Model Management and Next Model Management in New York and an all expense paid trip to Sydney for a fashion shoot in Girlfriend Magazine. Morgan appeared on Schwarzkopf’s LIVE Colour dye packets as the colour ‘chocolate’ and also featured in Valleygirl’s January advertisement campaign with her twin, Aimee. Morgan has also appeared in Reneevon London campaigns – the September campaign, October campaign and November campaign. Morgan walked during L’oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival in Target Red Rocks, The Vogue Show, MYER, Dhini, The Opening Show and Trespassers. Morgan walked during "Australian Fashion Week" in Arnsdorf, Magdelena Veleska, Kate Sylvester, TV and Gail Sorronda. Morgan and Aimee have also appeared at the Melbourne Roadshows for Girlfriend Magazine's Model Searches in 2008 and 2009. Morgan & Aimee dressed up as 'Little Audrey, The Skipping Girl' for her relighting ceremony for the Gas Company on June 11 2009. Morgan and Aimee have also done an editorial for Oyster Magazine, shot a campaign for Fernando Frizzoni and a campaign for "DOTTI" which is appearing in all stores across Australia and New Zealand (July 22). Morgan has also done New Zealand Fashion Week in September 09, she booked all 18 shows and a shoot with a magazine, she also opened the first show of the week. She has also booked all the shows for Melbourne Spring/Summer Fashion Week 09. She's the face of lifeWITHbird 2010.

The Future

Morgan and her sister Aimee plan to finish high school this year and travel to Paris and New York to work on their blossoming modeling careers. Both hope to continue their education through correspondence and graduate from high school while over seas. Morgan hopes to train in beauty or something similar in the hopes that she will have something to fall back on when she retires from modeling.
