Lavell Kaye Morrow (born September 24, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a former Arena Football League & American Indoor Football Association offensive lineman. He played for the now defunct AF2's Greensboro Prowlers and Rochester Brigade and the AIFA's Carolina Sharks/Ghostriders and Augusta Spartans/Colts. He signed contract in December 2008, to play with AIFA's Carolina Speed of Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2009 season which began play March 2009 at Bojangles Coliseum formerly the Cricket Arena.

High school career

Lavell Morrow attended West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina and played high school football under coach Bruce Hardin and was a letterman. As a junior, he was a tight end for the 1988 Lions which went to the North Carolina 4A State Championship and became runner-up to Richmond Senior High School ([[Hamlet, North Carolina). The 4A state title game was held at Wake Forest University (Groves Stadium). Lavell Morrow also participated with Charlotte's AAU Junior Olympic basketball team, the Charlotte Sonics throughout middle school and high school. Lavell Morrow's West Charlotte H.S. classmates were Jeff McInnis (North Carolina Tarheels and Charlotte Bobcats), Junior Burrough (University of Virginia and Boston Celtics) and Andrew Jordan, Jr. (Western Carolina University and Minnesota Vikings).

College

Lavell Morrow attended Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts where he also participated in NJCAA basketball under Head Coach Kevin McKaskill and mentor Ed Winch. Lavell Morrow withdrew early from Holyoke CC and later signed his first contract with the Arena Football League, a career he would pursued for nearly 9 years.
