Kinda Blu

Kinda Blu is the first studio recording by Popular Music Recording Artist I. Write. The album was released on December 8, 2008. Kinda Blu represents the beginning for the artist. Most of the songs on the album are riddled with soul samples from the 70's produced by Deandre "DJ Von" Woods. The two collaborated in a basement studio owned by best friend James "Rhythm Ghost" Ferrell. Among the notable songs on the album is the infamous "Hustler's Anthem". The colllaboration was born when I. Write was introduced to local R&B artist "Derty Harry" through his brother Mase. The song embodies everything that characterized the rappers persona. The sharp twisting yet over witty lyrics pay are reminiscent of a young Jay-Z or Notorious BIG. It's also how t I. Write began to make a name for himself as a writer when other major artist found out he wrote the entire album. Kinda Blu also garnered I. Write attention as a producer, creating track to Mic Check and collaborating with "Rhythm Ghost" to create the club banger Stretch.
