Keyvan Sheikhalishahi
Keyvan Sheikhalishahi (born April 15, 1998) is a French film director, screenwriter, producer and blogger.
Life and career
Keyvan Sheikhalishahi studied at Lycée Pasteur (Neuilly-sur-Seine).
After many first attempts, Keyvan Sheikhalishahi wrote the script of Turba when he was 15 and made the film when he was 16. He takes care of all the jobs. Despite actors who were not known and a lack of materials, the trailer is appreciated by French and international film festivals in the social networks which share it with its subscribers and a lot of actors, directors or producers.
In 2016, his new short film Vesper, produced by his own production company Amitice, stars German actor Götz Otto and French comedian Agnès Godey. Gréco Casadesus, composer of a hundred of musical creations, composes the original music of the film. Jean-Claude Aumont, who has worked in particular with Nicole Garcia, Patrice Leconte, Mylène Farmer and Vanessa Paradis, is the film's cinematographer.
Keyvan Sheikhalishahi is also a blogger. His blog is Fenêtre sur écran, ranked among the 10 best cinema blogs in France. The blog becomes better known thanks to a new analysis method invented by Keyvan Sheikhalishahi, which uses geometrical figures, in particular the unit circle and trigonometric functions. Keyvan Sheikhalishahi applies this method for the movie Basic Instinct. There's also a reflection about the relationship between the painter Edward Hopper and the cinema.
