Joycelyn Engle
Joycelyn Engle is a film producer, director and writer.
She is the producer of the feature film Shannon's Rainbow and has written, directed and produced other films, theatre productions and TV shows, including "The Di Palma Forum at UNLV" a celebrity interview TV program on family and national issues aired on PBS TV (CH 10 in Las Vegas and CH 13 in New York). She has written a number of magazine articles on great Americans, such as Elvis Presley, Jon Voight and Howard Hughes.
Joycelyn is also a speech and image consultant and has written and recorded two hit albums on speech and image. Her most recent, "Speak and Act for Success with Joycelyn Engle" has been a hit at The Drama Book Shop in New York for over 7 years.
Joycelyn has the title "Countess" from her husband's family. Her husband's great grandfather was given the title "Count" after a battle in Norway over 200 years ago. Gaetano Di Palma, the father-in-law of Joycelyn Engle, was an Engineer and builder of the Italian Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair in New York.
She has worked as a model and actress, and she has been the subject of magazine and newspaper articles. Joycelyn was a guest on Regis Philbin's Live with Regis TV show and The Joe Franklin Show.
Her father, the late Raymond J. Engle ran for US Congress in New Jersey and her mother, Joan (Jennie) Lupo Engle was a beauty contest winner from Tampa Florida.
Joycelyn is Vice President of Supernova Media, Inc. a film production company in New York. Her passion is with a number of charities, and Joycelyn is Host Committee Chair for Children at Heart Celebrity Auction and Dinner each year to benefit the children of Chernobyl. Steven Spielberg is Honorary Chair.
