Jonathan Decoster

Jonathan "Lil John" Decoster (born July 27, 1987 in Miami, Florida) is a former offensive right tackle for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

High school career

Decoster attended Everglades High School in Miramar, Florida. He led the 2006 varsity football team, coached Mike Palmieri, to an undefeated season and a district championship with a 10–0 record.

College career

2010 (Senior): Started 11 games at right tackle. Played 640 snaps

2009 (Junior)': Started all 12 games at right tackle...Was third on the team with 834 snaps, including a season-high 96 vs. Troy...Held Buffalo Bills 3rd Round Draft Pick to zero sacks and three tackles... Named Cajuns Offensive Player of the Game each of the first two weeks of the season. Was a key part of the offensive line that helped the Cajuns roll up school records in rushing yards, rushing yards per game, total offensive yards, total offensive yards per game and touchdowns...UL was seventh in the nation in rushing (3,164 yards) and first overall in the SBC...The Cajuns led the SBC in offensive yards per play, total offensive yards, total yards per game, touchdowns and third-down conversion percentage.

2008 (Sophomore): Started all 12 games at right tackle...Was on the field for 837 snaps, including a season-high 81 vs. FIU. 2008 Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt

2007 (Redshirt Freshman) Competed in 11 games on the offensive line, starting the final seven games at right tackle...Did not play in the season opener at SC...Saw 493 snaps, including a season-high 84 snaps at MT.

2006 (Freshman): Redshirted, did not play.

2011 NFL Draft
