Joel Orleans
Joel Amponsah (born 1st December 1986),professionally known as Joel Orleans, is a rapper-songwriter and a Radio Tv Host of Ghanian descent.
Career
It was not until 2008 that Joel became a familiar face on the entertainment scene in Ghana. He formed Uni Promo Paddies (a tertiary based promotion and events organizing group) where he organized events such as 'I Can't Feel My Face' part 1-5. He co-produced, performed and hosted 'Bless The Mic', a weekly open mic show in Osu, Accra from 2008 to 2010. At the same time Joel was assistant manager at Mirage Night Club from 2009 to 2010.
In 2009 Joel (then referred to as Pappi Props) got back in the rap scene in the 'Channel O MC Africa Competition', where he made it to the Ghana finals and ended up losing controversially to fellow rapper C-real.
