Jim Paidas

Jim Paidas, born April 24, 1956 in Stamford, Connecticut, son of Nicholas James and Penelope Psichopaidas, is an American born brand-building executive and drummer for the 70s Rock bands Ambush and Rough Cut. He has cited The Beatles and George Martin as his strongest MusicAL influences and the gold standard.

Career

Jim founded Promotion Sales, Ltd. in 1982, a Connecticut based advertising and promotional merchandise company; working with clients: American Tobacco Co., Nine West, Liz Claiborne, Kenneth Cole Productions, and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Jim helped these clients to build their brands through the use of gifts with purchase and advertising specialty products.

Jim assisted the WWE in developing their live-venue merchandise program with the use of retail merchandise, premiums, and promotional marketing tools. He worked with them on their following productions: WrestleMania and Smackdown.He was instrumental in the design and development of Creative Products and packaging for such top rated talent as:

  • Hulk Hogan
  • Randy Savage
  • The Ultimate Warrior
  • Bret Hart
  • Junkyard Dog

In 2004, Jim founded Paidas Management, an intellecutal property licensing management company, and is best known for working with the top-rated Discovery/TLC reality-series Orange County Choppers as a licensing agent. He has also worked with Dog the Bounty Hunter and Boyd Coddington from American Hot Rod. Some of the other clients Jim has worked with include:

Jim also has launched the Rockstalgia rock clothing line with Jon Levin from the 80s rock band Dokken.

Jim is currently working together with Orange County Choppers in their licensing and sponsorship efforts, acting as pitchman and rainmaker.
