Jaizki Mendizabal

Jaizki Mendizabal (b. July 28, 1977, Zarautz, Spain) is a telecommunications senior researcher, lecturer and author who has gained international recognition for his work on dual RF (radio frequency) receivers for GPS and Galileo (satellite navigation) systems.

He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tecnun in 2000 and 2006 respectively. He has been involved with the RFIC research group at FhG-IISA, Germany, the RF design group at CEIT research centre, Spain, and the Mixed Signal research group at SANYO Electric Ltd, Japan as an RF-IC designer. His current research focuses on monolithic RF design for GNSS systems. He lectures RF Measurement at the Tecnun RF Measurement Laboratory in San Sebastián, Spain.

He is the co-author of GPS and Galileo:Dual RF Front-end receiver Design, Fabrication and Test.

Dr Mendizabal is a keen weightlifter and traditional Basque dancer. He is married and expecting twins.
