Howard B. Jackson
Howard Barnaby Jackson (born 5th November 1987) is a British documentary-maker, known for his travel documentaries and work on the internet.
Early life and career
Jackson was born in Ottery St Mary, Devon, the only child of little-known B-movie actress Gloria Jackson (née Billingsgate) and Jack Jackson. From an early age Jackson showed interest in Geography and travel at Reed's School where he studied.
Jackson left school at 18 to further his career and his pioneering work for Confugium Film Ltd led to him setting up his own production company, Howard Jackson Pictures, in 2008.
He won the Best Achievement Award at the Deep Fried Film Festival in 2006 for his short film 'Pinoit', under his pseudonym of Rees Whottham
In 2009 Jackson was commissioned to make a series of short travel documentaries for British television and internet release. The first series of 6 episodes will be filmed in the USA.
