Academics
Starting in 2015, the curriculum is titled "World Civilisations" and is composed of 3 years of study (9 semesters of 14 weeks). The curriculum requires students to take a workshop in Critical Thinking, introductory classes in religion and social sciences, a reading workshop in social inequalities, and a foreign language class before joining the full programme. After completing the preparatory semester, the students move to the next phase: the Combined Core Programme in World Civilisations.
The Combined Core Programme in World Civilisations includes AP World History, AP Comparative Government and Politics (2 semesters), AP European History (3 semesters), AP English Literature and Composition, AP Art History, and one/two electives each semester taught over 5 semesters. The classes are synchronised, so the same chronological period and themes are taught in all classes. For example, if AP World History and AP European History are dealing with 17th century history, AP English Literature will cover Shakespeare and Milton, while AP Art History will cover Baroque. Students continue with the same foreign language throughout this core programme as well.
In their third year (semesters 7-9), students take 10 courses in one of ten majors. They continue with their foreign language, and write a honours thesis.
Disabilities office
Harari College Worldwide has launched in February 2013 a centre to make their entire course catalog accessible for various types of disabilities, ranging from audio disabilities to autism. In June 2014 they are expected to submit autistic, blind and deaf students to the Israeli Bagrut exam.
