Hannah Zeavin
Hannah Zeavin is an American poet. Her first book, Circa, is available from Hanging Loose Press.
Personal life
Zeavin was born in New York City in 1990. She is from Brooklyn, New York. She attended Saint Ann's School (New York City) where she studied poetry with Marty Skoble. She currently lives in New Haven and studies at Yale University.
Professional life
Zeavin has volunteered at the Saint Mark's Poetry Project, studied at Naropa University, and worked as the assistant to Anne Waldman, who acts as the Creative Director of the Summer Writing Program. Additionally, she is the Recipient of the Alan G. Ross Memorial Mentorship Prize and the Princeton Poetry Prize. Her first collection of poetry, Circa, is available from Hanging Loose Press (2009). Zeavin serves as the poetry editor for the Brooklyn-based magazine Cousin Corinne Literary & Photographic Reminders. She also has work in Flaneur Foundry and Hanging Loose Magazine, as well as the forthcoming issue of Cousin Corinne[].
