-Class size requirements -Expenditure controls and categorical allotment requirements -Certification requirements -Salary schedule requirements -Any other requirements or provisions of this chapter as identified by the local school system and approved by the state board except as provided. The final plan for each school is posted on the Individual School Websites in most cases.
Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA. is the first school system in the State of Georgia to submit a Contract to the State of Georgia Board of Education. The contracts call for freedom from State Education Laws and Regulations in exchange for Improved Student Performance. The Contracts are for a term of 5 years.
The Georgia Board of Education headed by the elected state superintendent of schools must approve all contracts.
