Fountain International School

Fountain International School (FIS) is a private, non-sectarian international school located in San Juan City, Philippines. Established in 2002, the school is an accredited Cambridge International School and a full member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

The school provides a multicultural learning environment for Filipino and international students from over 30 countries. Its academic framework integrates the Cambridge International curriculum with the Department Of Education (DepEd) K–12 requirements, ensuring students meet both local and global standards.

History

Fountain International School was founded in 2002. In 2006, the school expanded its operations with the establishment of its dedicated high school campus in San Juan City. In 2008, the school received formal recognition from the Senate of the Philippines when Senate President Manny Villar commended the institution for its students' success in international science and math competitions.

In 2017, the school was briefly involved in a diplomatic discussion following allegations from the Turkish government regarding its affiliations. However, the claims were dismissed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and local officials, who cited the school's long-standing track record of academic excellence and community service in Metro Manila.

  • Cambridge Primary & Lower Secondary: Focuses on core competencies in English, Mathematics, and Science.
  • IGCSE: Taken by students in Grade 10 to provide a global standard for secondary education.
  • AS & A Levels: Provided for Senior High School students, offering a pathway to international university admissions.

The school is noted for its high performance in the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) and other regional tilts. In 2018, FIS students were part of the Philippine delegation that secured medals at the International Mathematics Championship in Bangkok.
