Florida Competitive Cheerleading
The Florida Competitive Cheerleading (FCC) is the one of the strongest collegiate cheerleading programs in the nation. Representing the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
Background information
Florida Competitive Cheerleading is the University of Florida's official competitive cheer program. This program is in its sixth year of competing. The organization consists of two teams, Blue (All-girl advanced team; Level 6) and Orange (All-girl intermediate team; Level 4). Both teams travel to compete in the state of Florida, regional and national competitions including Cheersport in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition Florida Competitive Cheerleading competes in the world's largest cheerleading competition the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.
This squad is not recognized as an official athletic team by the University. Florida Competitive Cheerleading is a club team that raises money through fund raising activities. The team seen in the photo to the right is a coed team that cheers at home and away football games, home mens and womens basketball games, volleyball meets, and gymnastics meets.
