Fahad Kashmiri

Fahad Kashmiri is an Indian Television Director who started his directorial career from STAR Plus's show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He also directed many Indian television shows after mostly under Balaji Telefilms.

Early life and education

Fahad Kashmiri was born in Bandra, Mumbai in a middle class Muslim family. His father was an engineer and his mother a homemaker. He did his schooling at Fr. Agnel Technical High School, Bandra, Mumbai and later on he went to the same college. Due to his desire to become an engineer, he joined NIIT Computer Institute in Mumbai and got his Diploma in Computer Hardware and Network Engineering from there. He also started working for NIIT but soon left the job and entered the field of television media courtesy his friends, who were already there working as assistant directors.

Career

In early 2003, he joined Balaji Telefilms numero-uno show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as an assistant director. After working in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for one and a half years, he joined as personal assistant director to Garry Bhinder. He assisted Garry for almost 3 years until Garry's Untimely death in July 2008.

Fahad got his first break as a director in STAR Plus show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil for Balaji Telefilms.
