Ezequiel Suárez González
Ezequiel Suárez González was born in Havana, Cuba, in January 19, 1967. He develops the Painting, Installations and Performance. Between 1981-1985 he studied Painting and Engraving in the Academia de Bellas Artes San Alejandro, Havana, Cuba.
Individual Exhibitions
Among his must relevant personal exhibitions we can mention Trabajos libres en tiempos de paz, in Galería Habana, in Havana, in 1992. In 1994 he exhibited Art Degenerado en la Era del Mercado (Sandra Ceballos/ Ezequiel Suárez), in Espacio Aglutinador, in Havana. And in 1998 he presented Spanish Paintings and Nuevo Arte Suizo. Pedro Alvarez/ Ezequiel Suárez, in Espacio Aglutinador, in Havana, Cuba.
Performances
During his life he had made many performances like Cada artista que se va es un fragmento que se pierde, in: Inside Havana (Carlos Garaicoa´s solo sho), Espacio Aglutinador, Havana, in 1995. In 1997 he made Antonín en Ródez, in: La Expresión sicógena (Sandra Ceballos´s solo show), Access Gallery, Vancouver, Canada. And in 1998 he presented Todos los caminos conducen a casa, (Sandra Ceballos/ Ezequiel Suárez), in: La dirección de la mirada, Musée de Beaux Arts, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
Collective Exhibitions
Also he was participated in many collective exhibitions. In 1988 he was one of the selected artists to participated in the First Festival of Young Art, El Picadero Gallery, in Moscow, U.S.S.R. In this year he also participated in Cambio de Bola, in Galería Habana, in Havana. In 1997 he was included in Una miseria temporal (Sandra Ceballos, Ezequiel Suárez, Eduardo Aparicio, Ernesto Leal), in Espacio Aglutinador, in Havana. And in 1998 some of his works were selected to conform La Dirección de la Mirada, in the Stadthaus, Zürich, in the Musée des Beaux Arts, La Chaux de Fonds, in Switzerland. One of his most recent group exhibition made in 2007 was displayed at Centro de Artes plásticas y Diseño Luz y Oficios Havana under the name Vostok.

Some of his works can be found formed part of the collection of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, in Havana.
