EWA Hardcore Championship

The EWA Hardcore Championship was a professional wrestling hardcore championship in the Eastern Wrestling Alliance (EWA). It remained ACTIVE until May 5, 2005, when EWA went on hiatus was subsequently discontinued.

The inaugural champion was Damon D'Archangelo, who defeated Kidd USA in a tournament final on May 15, 1999 to become the first EWA Heavyweight Champion. Frankie Armadillo holds the record for most reigns, with three. At 244 days, D'Archangelo's first reign is the longest in the title's history. Armadillo's third and final reign was the shortest in the history of the title lasting only 7 days. Overall, there have been 13 reigns shared between 10 wrestlers, with two vacancies, and 1 deactivation.
