Eso Samardžić
Eso Samardžić or also known as Esad Samardžić, born in Cazin (Bosnia and Herzegovina),was a famous popular folk singer and a powerful businessman during the 1990s. He was the owner of one of the most famous Yugoslavian NightClub in Switzerland called Tanoa, where the most popular folk singers from Serbia, Croatia,Bosnia Herzegovina and Germany as well as Eso Samardžic(himself) have perfomed in the 1990s during the war in Yugoslavia. The most popular songs of Eso Samardžic were Da si moja and Majko, Bajram je from his latest album Stasala za ljubav produced by his own record label EMONA in 1994. At that time, he also worked with Dino Merlin, Halid Bešlić, Ceca Ražnatović, Halid Muslimović,Šaban Šaulić, and many others.
Before Eso pursued his career as a folk singer and music manager, he was a police officer in his early 20s and stationed in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in Pula, Croatia. After quitting his career as a police officer, he kept looking forward to start pursuing a career as a professional football player across Europe in the 1980s. Eso played as a strong potential forward player with NK Rudar, NK Pula, Partizan Belgrade, FC St.Gallen along with Christian Gross, and SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. Samardzic is also married (from 2000) with Dr.Ayla Almira Karagic (age 33). The couple have two children.
