Episodes

Duncan Does It All

Duncan is tired of delivering straw, and wants an EXCITING job. Luckily, Rusty doesn't want his job of taking passengers, so Duncan offers to do it. Soon, no work is done and Thomas' load is late.

Cool Truckings

Madge, the snub-nosed lorry, has to carry Duncan across the mountain when his line gets snowed over. He finds several BElls, but none of them are loud enough, and all together they tip the bike.

  • This is the first time that part of a season is unaired and released on DVD. Only 20 episodes of the 2007 series were aired, so these episodes complete the traditional 26-episode count for all but one season.
  • Elizabeth's large scale model returns since Season 6, albeit in cameo. Like Trevor in a Jack and the Pack episode "Mud Glorious Mud", the face was not shown.
  • Annie and Clarabel have been made into large scale models, after Thomas, James, Percy, Trevor, Terence, Elizabeth and the Troublesome Trucks.
  • Thomas has been absent in Skarloey Storms Through and Wash Behind Your Buffers, making them the only two episodes of Season 11 not to feature him.
  • Mighty Mac are heard with different whistles change in Sir Handel in Charge.
  • Fergus' theme is used for Sir Handel in Sir Handel in Charge.
  • Madge is the fourth road character to interact with the narrow gauge engines. The first being Harold of Seasons 4 & 9, George of Seasons 4 & 5, and Elizabeth of Season 6.
  • Mr. Percival appears in all six episodes of Engines and Escapades.
  • The Narrow Gauge sheds appeared for the first time since Season 7.
  • This is the first time where the Fat Controller does not appear in any of the Season 11 Narrow Gauge Engine Episodes, although he is mentioned by James in Sir Handel in Charge.
  • Duncan Does it All is the only episode on the Engines and Escapades DVD where Annie and Clarabel appear.
  • Skarloey Storms Through and Wash Behind Your Buffers are the only Season 11 Narrow Gauge Episodes in which Rheneas actually speaks unless one counts Thomas and the Big Bang.
  • This is the first season where Mighty Mac has more than 1 speaking role, in this case, he has 2, he talks in Sir Handel in Charge and Ding-A-Ling.
