Endurance Warranty Services, LLC is an Illinois-based limited liability company that was formed in May 2006. Endurance Warranty Services provides vehicle service contracts, commonly referred to as extended auto warranties through auto dealerships as well as direct-to-consumer.
History
Endurance Warranty Services was founded in 2006 by Paul Chernawsky and Jordan Batt, of the World Series of Poker fame. The company specializes in administration of vehicle service contracts offered through vehicle dealerships in addition to directly to consumers. In 2009, Endurance Warranty Services became a certified member of the Vehicle Protection Agency (VPA). The VPA is a national association that promotes the self-regulation of the sale of vehicle service contracts direct-to-consumers. In accordance with the VPA’s Standard of Conduct, companies selling vehicle service contracts direct to consumers were not permitted to use the term “warranty” in the company name. Due to these Standards of Conduct, Endurance Warranty Services created a doing business as in the name of Endurance Vehicle Protection.
In 2011, Endurance Vehicle Protection launched a national direct-to-consumer marketing campaign, partnering with auto expert Courtney Hansen. Hansen has been featured in multiple national broadcast commercials and online advertisements for the company. In 2012, Endurance Vehicle Protection became its own administrator of vehicle service contracts. At this time, no other direct-to-consumer company administers their own service contracts.
Awards and Accreditation
Endurance Vehicle Protection is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and currently holds an "A+" Rating. It is also one of only ten companies in the country, that have earned a gold-certification by the Vehicle Protection Agency. The company ranked in the top five, with a response time of 32-seconds, at the 2013 LeadsCon trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was nominated for Customer Service Department of the Year - Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations, Business Services or Diversified Services at the 2014 Stevie Awards. On June 13, 2014 Endurance won the Gold Stevie Award in its category.
