Edward demicoli

Edward Demicoli (born 25th of June, 1970) is a Nationalist Party candidate for the 2009 European Parliament. He is married to Concita nee’ Amato and has two children, Julia aged 5 and Sophie aged 3.

Edward Demicoli graduated in International Relations from the University of Malta in 1996 and continued his formal education obtaining a Master's Degree in Business Management. Having started his career working as a journalist, most of Mr. Demicoli's professional life has centered around media and press, and today he holds the post of Press and Political Officer at the European Commission's Representation Office in Malta. Prior to joining the European Commission, Edward Demicoli was the Deputy Head of the Malta EU Information Centre (MIC) in the run up to the referendum on whether Malta should join Europe in 2003. Mr. Demicoli also worked as Communications Coordinator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in various private companies. Edward Demicoli is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.
