David M. 'Dave' Foster is a candidate for the office of the Attorney General of the State of Virginia. He is one of the three Republicans running for this office and has a large number of confirmed delegates at the convention.
Personal Life
Dave Foster has been married to his wife, Martha, for 28 years, and they are the proud parents of two children, who attend Virginia colleges. Dave was born in Arlington County where he and his family attend Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. He has practiced law and served his community for 28 years since graduating from the University of Virginia’s Law School.
Political Career
John McCain won only 27% of the vote in Arlington, Dave Foster won with 62% and is the only Republican or Independent to win a general election in that county for over 25 years.
