- Founded in the summer of 2006, the Company was incorporated in the state of Colorado on April 19, 2007.
- On April 2, 2008, eCrypt was admitted into the BlackBerry Alliance program as an Independent Software Vendor.
- On June 11, 2008, the Company's eCrypt for BlackBerry smartphones email encryption software was granted Mass Market commodity status and an export and re-export authorization form the United States Department Of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security.
- eCrypt filed its Form 10 registration statement with the SEC on Nov 11th of 2008, and was granted an effective date of January 12, 2009 in 10 calendar days on November 21, 2008.
