Department Of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University is one of the 5 public pharmacy schools in Bangladesh". . The department offers 4 years undergraduate and a 1 year post-graduate master's degree (General and Thesis) in Pharmacy.
History
Department of Pharmacy of Jahangirnagar University was established in 1987 with a total number of 11 undergraduate students. Established after 25 years of establishment of department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, it is the 2nd oldest pharmacy school in Bangladesh.".
Admission
The admission process in department of pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University is very competitive. The admission test is held by the University once in a year. The test evaluate the applicants ability in Bangla, English, Chemistry and Biology. For undergraduate admission, the department requires a minimum total GPA 6.5 in HSC and SSC for sitting on the admission test. Besides, the applicant should also have a minimum GPA 3.00 both in SSC and HSC with B grade in Chemistry and Biology both in SSC & HSC and D grade in Math/Statistics in HSC.".

BPSA(Bangladesh Pharmacy students Association)
It is the pharmacy students organization of Bangladesh. Anyone who is studying pharmacy in any accredited pharmacy school in Bangladesh is considered as a member of BPSA.
ELP
Organization of students who eager to learn advanced English. Any student of Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University can become a member. 2 Classes are held in week on english. Students don't have to pay for the classes.
