Deji Adeyanju & Partners
Deji Adeyanju & Partners (DAP) is a Nigerian law firm headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. The firm was co-founded by Deji Adeyanju and Marvin Omorogbe and offers legal services across multiple practice areas, including litigation, arbitration, corporate law, real property, oil and gas, and human rights law.
Background
The firm operates under a partner/senior associate-led model, in which junior associates are paired with more senior practitioners on client matters. It maintains a dedicated division for real estate services and has associates accredited by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
Deji Adeyanju & Partners has adopted a preference for alternative dispute resolution over litigation where possible, engaging in arbitration, mediation, and negotiation before resorting to court proceedings.

Deji Adeyanju is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a human rights advocate. He holds a first-class degree from Baze University, Abuja, and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar. Notable cases
The firm has handled a number of publicly reported cases. In October 2024, Deji Adeyanju & Partners took on a pro bono case representing Stephen Abuwatseye, a Bolt driver who alleged he was assaulted by Alex Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency. The firm secured the arraignment of the lawmaker before subsequently withdrawing from the matter, citing professional integrity.
In February 2025, the firm submitted a petition to the governments of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and the European Union, calling for a visa restriction on Assistant Commissioner of Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force. The petition alleged that Adejobi had used his position to suppress freedom of expression and intimidate critics of the government.
The firm has also represented several high-profile individuals in politically sensitive matters, including journalist and activist Omoyele Sowore and social media figure Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, across multiple arrests between 2024 and 2025.
