De Paul College, Eluru

DePaulCollege is located in Duggirala, Eluru, India.

The college derives its title and inspiration from St. Vincent de Paul, the patron saint of the Vincentian Congregation, a missionary religious community which manages the college. St. Vincent was a Sixteenth century French saint who expressed his devotion to and love of God in serving human needs and in leading his contemporaries to work for the development of society. Motivated by him, the Vincentian community work all over the world especially in Afro-Asian countries with a special concern for the deprived members of society.

Location

De Paul Campus is five kilometers from the nearest railway station and from the APSRTC bus complex. It is behind the St. Joseph Dental College situated on the Eluru - Nusvid Highway. De Paul is a riverfront college. The river Tamileru makes an arc on one side of the campus. The college runs buses for the convenience of day scholars (only for girls).

Criteria for admission

For B.Sc/B.Com

• pass in Intermediate/Plus Two or equivalent exam with relevant discipline.

For M.Sc

• pass in any B.Sc program with Chemistry as a subject.

For M.B.A:

• pass with not less than 50% Marks in aggregate in any Bachelor Degree Program/a valid rank or score in CAT/MAT/ICET or in any equivalent entrance exam.
