Dapo Ladimeji
Dapo Ladimeji is a Nigerian British,came to Britain when he was 5 years old.
Championed the importance of new technologies for Africa and was invited to speak at various UN
conferences (Geneva, and New York) including one as a member of the UN Expert Group. Invited
to President Obama's first inauguration.
Trustee of : SCAR (Sickel Cell Anaemia Research), JCORE (Jewish Council for Racial Equality)
Board member of Genesis Housing Group, Chair of Pathmeads Housing Association.
In 2004 formed his own firm Ladimeji & Co to specialise in International Taxation.
Early life
He was born in Nigeria, in 1951 came to Britain when he was 5.
He went to Holmewood House School, and from the ages of 13 to 16 he went on to be a Centenary Scholar at Brighton College, Sussex, where his love of literature began to show, in his succeeding in winning a Poetry prize.
Also, Ladimeji spent time as a student at International School Ibadan between the years 1967-1969.
