Constance Dima

Constance Dima (Greek: Κωνστάνς Δημά), born Konstantina Karadimou (Κωνσταντίνα Καραδήμου) August 18, 1948, is a Greek writer, poet and translator.

Biographical note

Constance Dima was born in the area of Grammos in Kastoria, Greece. She studied tourism management, French and Bulgarian Philology, and completed post graduate studies in foreign language tutoring. She has lived and worked as a guide, translator, interpreter and high-school teacher, in former Czechoslovakia (today’s Czech Republic), France, Bulgaria, Greece and Belgium. In the summer of 2009 she returned permanently to Greece and settled in the island of Crete.
Constance Dima has published four poetry anthologies, a testimonial novel, an essay and translations. Her latest anthology “Asfyxie” has also been published as an e-book. Her work has been published in Greek, French, Czech and Bulgarian and her poems have been translated into Greek, French, Czech, Bulgarian, English, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
Constance Dima has been honoured with a comparative linguistics award and a poetry award.
