Anestis Keramidas

Anestis Keramidas (Greek:Ανεστης Κεραμυδας) is a Greek writer and researcher. He supports and promotes the theories of Epsilonism and the Epsilon Team. He is also a Popular Orthodox Rally member of the Thessaloniki City Council.

Biography

Anestis Keramidas was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1949.

He attended and graduated the naval high school and worked for years as an officer of the commercial navy. In 1986 he published his first book, Δεν ήταν καιόμενη βατος (It Was Not a Burning Bush). By 1996 his book Ομάδα Ε (Epsilon Team) was generating good sales. Today Anestis Keramidas is one of the most known individuals to promote the theory of the Epsilon Team, for which he has written dozens of books. One of them is ΝΕΜΕΣΙΣ ΚΑΙ ΕΙΜΑΡΜΕΝΗ (Vengeance and Destiny) which, according to him, is the best book ever written. In his TV show he openly challenged everyone to show him a book that could be better than his.

His claims

Keramidas claims that Greeks are superior to other people because they have different DNA. He also claims that Greeks are the ancestors of aliens from the planet Sirius who once visited the earth thousands of years ago. He believes that in 2012 the Greeks and their ancient culture will dominate the world, giving peace to all living creatures with the help of the Epsilon Team, the "real" Greeks from Sirius Who will revisit the earth in 2012. In many of his shows he has confirmed that he belongs to the Epsilon Team and that his role is to inform the Greeks about the coming of the team.

TV show

Keramidas used to run 10-minute advertisements on minor Greek television channels, in which he promoted his books. He claims the information for his books is delivered to him by special agents of the Epsilon Team. He also alleges that many of his predictions and prophecies have already been fulfilled. Today he has a one-hour television broadcast on the Greek channel OPION, together with vice-General Giorgos Ayfantis, called ΕΣΕΤΑΙ ΗΜΑΡ which, in ancient Greek means "The Day Will Come". Apparently the meaning of that title is that one day the Greek culture will dominate the world. On the show, the two men express their opinions on political issues as well as their conclusions concerning the Epsilon Team and extraterrestrials. Promoting their books is also part of the show. Through his broadcast, Keramidas makes claims such as that the ancient Greek temple of Apollo is, in fact, a spaceship capable of intergalactic flight, and acknowledged as such by NASA.

Political action

In 2004 Keramidas joined the political party LA.O.S. of Georgios Karatzaferis and took part in the 2004 Greek parliamentary elections in the second prefecture of Thessaloniki. However, he was not elected as L.A.OS. failed to achieve the 3% required to enter the parliament. He also participated in the 2006 local elections for the city council of Thessaloniki, where he was elected first among his party comrades.
