Biography
Early Years
Growing up in Melbourne, Australia, Chris O’Ryan’s love of music was sparked at the early age of 8, when he joined the Victorian Childrens Choir. At age 9, he started learning the piano and soon after, picked up the guitar. Music composition also started at an early age when he started to write songs at age 12. At age 13, he performed for a season in Opera Australia and throughout high school played a variety of instruments in many bands, from electric bass in the jazz quartet, to trumpet in the school big bands and orchestras.

2002 - Present
In 2002, O'Ryan relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional music producer. With very little money and no contacts, O’Ryan progressed from unpaid studio intern, to head studio engineer, to co-owner of his own production company.

In 2009, O'Ryan commenced work on the forthcoming albums of Mariah Carey, Cassie, Christina Milian and P. Diddy.
