Chris Pelikan
Chris Pelikan joined the FOX 2 Sports Team on KTVI in January of 2005 as a Sports Producer/Reporter. He can be seen reporting from "The Prep Zone" and delivering stories and live reports throughout the week.
Chris joined FOX 2 after spending four years at Texas Cable News in Dallas where he served as a sports reporter and anchor.
While in Texas, Chris covered some of the state's top sports stories including the birth of the Houston Texans, the Dallas Cowboys' hiring of Bill Parcells, the start of the Roger Clemens era with the Astros and the end of the Alex Rodriguez era with the Rangers.
Prior to his time in Texas, Chris worked as a sports reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia and held internships at The Golf Channel in Orlando, Florida as well as several radio stations.
A native St. Louisan, Chris graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2000 with a dual degree in Broadcast and News-Editorial Journalism. He is also a 1996 graduate of St. Louis University High School.
Recently announced, Chris will be joining Martin Kilcoyne and Maurice Drummond ("The Deputy Minister") on KSLG 1380 AM, The Bandanna, for the new 12-2 pm show, The After Morning Show, on which he will be known as "The Squirrel."
