Byzan also has its Electronic Banking centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore. Byzan is represented in US by its associate Byzan Technologies Inc., based in Chicago, IL.

History
Byzan Systems was founded in Madras by Mohanakrishnan, an Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad alumnus in 1993. Later, as the Company began to grow, a development centre was established at Mumbai. However, when The Dot-com crash struck, the Company fell into a decline and employees of the Chennai office began to quit. As a result, more importance was given to the development of the Mumbai office, which had been made the headquarters a few years ago. Since The crash, the company has recovered and is doing well. Attempts are also being made to revive the development centre at Chennai. The Chairman, Mohanakrishnan is also President, Applications Business Unit,MphasiS.

Byzan's core competencies lie in the banking and financial services domain expertise by way of effective frameworks for Payment Gateways, Security and Authentication Models, Core Banking and Cross Channel Sales and Services. Byzan also provides services in the areas of Applications Support, LAN/WAN Datacenter and Support Desk Management for Electronic Banking.
