BRANDTHINK Malaysia is an integrated agency based in Malaysia. The agency provide services in advertising, public relations, events and digital marketing to clients based in Asia Pacific. It's services are targeted at marketing to affluent consumers and some of its clients include the world's most recognizable brands such as Apple, Carlsberg, SAP and Gap.
History
BRANDTHINK was founded in 2000 by Jui Hong Teoh. It began as a marketing consultancy providing advice to companies on how to use emerging communication tools to reach consumers. In 2001, the agency became a full-fledged advertising agency and counted clients such as Channel [v], Clarins, Apple Malaysia and Lexmark as one of its pioneer clients. In 2004, BRANDTHINK began recruiting clients within the lifestyle and luxury sector. By 2007, the agency was serving major luxury brands and fashion groups in Malaysia including FJ Benjamin's Gap, Banana Republic, Guess, Bell & Ross as well as Roger Dubuis, Richard Mille, Chaumet, Van Cleef & Arpels and Boucheron. By 2008, the agency now has units in Public Relations and in 2009 became fully integrated with services such as Events and Activation and Digital Marketing.
Awards
In 2009, the agency was voted in a survey by Advertising + Marketing Magazine in Malaysia to be the Local Agency of The Year in the categories of Creative Agency and Direct Marketing - beating out many larger multinational agencies. In the same survey, BRANDTHINK was also ranked #7 in Digital Marketing Agency and the #8 PR Agency in a ranking that counts mainly large multinationals.
