Best of 75 Years of SEC Football Super Team
In 2007, AT&T Wireless, in conjunction with the The Southeastern Conference (SEC), determined the best of the best from 75 years of SEC football by a fan vote. Fans voted on the nominees throughout the 2007 season which was the 75th in SEC history. This purportedly serves as the Official 75th Anniversary SEC Football Team 1. Notables who received the most votes were Joe Namath, Peyton Manning, John Hannah and Paul "Bear" Bryant. Also selected was a best game-day tradition in the SEC.2
